What: Ami and Asami sneak into the old school building! Others can join too!
When: 8:30PM, some night in June?
Where: Old School Building
Who: Ami, Asami, others!
People in school knew Ami as one person. Asami as Ami's only friend had begun to see a different side to her. And tonight it was almost as if a whole other side of Ami was coming out. A girl who had grown up playing fantasy games and wishing every single day that magic was real so that she could change her body and become who she wanted to be, she had grown up to be a little excited by adventure and the lure of possible mystery. Because if if something beyond explanation could exist at all, that meant there was a chance, no matter how small, that her dream could actually come true.
So when Asami found Ami crouched down by the fence outside the old school building, she'd see the young idol in all black, with plenty of adventuring supplies. She wore a pair of tight black jeans, sneakers, a black turtleneck, and her hair was put up in two buns on the side of her head out of the way. She had a smalls length of rope coiled and hanging from her shoulder, as well as a stack of ofuda she had made from designs online.
"Asami-chan, over here!" she whispered from her hidden spot, waving a short hand to her friend.

"Are you okay, K-kun?"

"Wh-Who are you?!" She yelled, pointing at him accusingly. Things were quickly getting complicated and Ami was not exactly the best at handling complicated situations.

She said this in such an angry tone that it was hard to tell she was shocked at all.

"...Aren't you in my class?" she asked of Itsuki, remembering the boy from her journal. Then she realized that he had lied to her about there being nothing special. And that made her angry enough to forget how scared she was for a moment.
"Y-You lied to me! You just didn't want us to see this place!"

He glanced around the room they were now standing in. "Do I want to know what things you two were doing with the kissing bears?"

"You can go look if you're so inclined," she added.

"What kind of question is that?!" This time, she stood her ground, staring down Takuro with a stern look on her face. Apparently now was not the time for jokes, as it seemed any of the humor went way over Ami's short head.
Then she noticed her friend was already getting ready to book it. That changed her attitude quick, not feeling so tough if she didn't have her friend to back her up.
"W-Wait, Asami-chan!"

Setting off after the speedy girl, Takuro called ahead: "We need to head upstairs. There's people up there as well." Taking a moment to remember the view from before, Takuro gave instructions as best he could. There was no guarantee that he would be listened to by either girl, but...

And yet, he was being ignored. This was a new one for Kaunko, who had been the death of many a party. He, who had been there when many drunken relatives revealed dirty secrets about friends and family, he who had been there when pants ripped at the worst possible time before a job interview, he, who had been there at every cat scare from a movie making the audience scream, was being ignored.
It made him pout. "I, yes... yes, young master. I'm coming," he said, but even when he tried to make it sound suggestive enough to get an R rating smacked into the conversation, there was an undeniable tone of self-consciousness in his voice. He even looked back at Itsuki, the only person in the room who felt as uncomfortable as the demon did.
"Well, I'd never..."

So, before she decided on any action, she carefully led her friend by the hand. And remarked on something she had heard Ami mention.
"Really, if you were trying to keep people out, you could've done better."
She talked a bit quieter than normal, a little more cautiously.

"Where are we going?" Ami couldn't quite remember which way they had come to get to where they were, and how to get outside again. It was only then that something hit her.
"Did you see that horse headed freak?!" She asked, a little too loud.

The Accusing Stare.
There wasn't anything particularly magical about it, but an accusing stare is bad enough with a human. This was a horse-headed demon in BDSM clothes. He was very good at it.

Incidentally, if Asami could feel the darkness around her, if she could feel its pulse and weight, the snake on Itsuki's shoulders was a gaping hole in the substance, while Kaunko felt like a heavy, heavy weight, drawing shadows under his feet.

"M-monsters?"

"Beasts lurk here, young woman," he said, in a voice that gets under your skin. "Beasts, lowly as the most loathsome worm and disease-bearing vermin that you could imagine, yet larger than anything you've ever seen. How does that make you feel"

"G-G-G-Get away!" The creepy way he addressed Asami didn't make it any better. Of course, Ami turned her anger to someone else, pointing at Takuro.
"P-Put your dog on a leash!" Dog, horse, same thing.

The kids wouldn't have noticed immediately, not in such deep darkness, but this corridor didn't look like it belonged to the school. There were no classrooms, and if there were doors they were old fashioned Japanese sliding ones. There were windows looking out into the courtyard, which would imply it faced the outside, but none of the kids would remember seeing this side of the building...

The kamui honked.

She rushed to open one of the sliding doors and peered around it curiously. "Oh," she said. "This is really like my house." But then she heard what the brown-haired boy said and looked back at him. "Huh?"
