What: Ami and Asami sneak into the old school building! Others can join too!
When: 8:30PM, some night in June?
Where: Old School Building
Who: Ami, Asami, others!
People in school knew Ami as one person. Asami as Ami's only friend had begun to see a different side to her. And tonight it was almost as if a whole other side of Ami was coming out. A girl who had grown up playing fantasy games and wishing every single day that magic was real so that she could change her body and become who she wanted to be, she had grown up to be a little excited by adventure and the lure of possible mystery. Because if if something beyond explanation could exist at all, that meant there was a chance, no matter how small, that her dream could actually come true.
So when Asami found Ami crouched down by the fence outside the old school building, she'd see the young idol in all black, with plenty of adventuring supplies. She wore a pair of tight black jeans, sneakers, a black turtleneck, and her hair was put up in two buns on the side of her head out of the way. She had a smalls length of rope coiled and hanging from her shoulder, as well as a stack of ofuda she had made from designs online.
"Asami-chan, over here!" she whispered from her hidden spot, waving a short hand to her friend.

In fact, she was feeling less than scared. The little Demon Model was feeling like she could take on the world. After all, she had even heard where the things weak spot was! With the new power she had it would be over in a second, right? And so in a moment of confidence, Ami raised her hand up, gathered electricity in it, and smashed through the floor beneath them all.

Re: 2/2
The whole ceiling dropped with a sound like thunder roaring. Boards of wood, dust, teenagers and oversexualized horse demons came down-- and by the rules of magic, came down three times as all the kids felt time loop repeatedly, as it would in a dramatic scene of a movie or TV series. Crash. Crash.
CRASH!!!
And before they knew it, the oni guard had been buried under a whole lot of youthful enthusiasm and debris. It took a moment for the dust to settle, and yet, inexplicably, all the kids would be okay with their fall. Perhaps a little sore, but okay.

"Well, I'm not sure we need to fight the guard anymore..." he murmured, brushing dust from his pants. "That was pretty impressive."

Honk.
"Well I'm... I'm sure he's sturdier than that, Kamui."
A deadpan honk.
"Gosh. W-well, maybe he'll recover from internal bleeding? Or-- maybe he'll get hospital care. Er. Do oni have hospital care?"

Akito had that very brief sensation of a short, missed step...and then a sudden drop that did more than leave his stomach behind.
As appropriate a time as this would've been to swear for once, Akito only managed a surprised, instinctive yelp before the back of his head hit the floor as he hit the impromptu slide on the way down, down down-
He briefly saw a figure that disappeared too fast to make much out. He saw a lot less he hit the basement floor with a loud 'OMPH' that sent his glasses off his face. Akito groaned, instinctively feeling for them (and missing them), "A-Araragi-san-" oh yes, he was would repay this one day,"-are you alright-"
But as bad as Akito's sight was without his glasses, he could still make out figures, even if not the details beyond blurs. He straightened, a mask of collection instantly snapping into place, and looked at them with unfocused eyes. He muttered the safe thing, "Not alone indeed..."
As he said that though, there was an instinctive panic. They looked humanoid but were they 'human' or like the 'rodent'?

"You dropped this," said Kaunko, pushing glasses up against Akito's hand.

And up Akito went. He processed what little he could see and tell: Human voice. Human arms, fairly strong. Different sort of smell. Some kind of cologne or oil.
Akito stared at the blurry shape in front of him for a moment before that 'sheepish', self-deprecating smile snapped, 'gratitude' on his face and in his voice. "Thank you very much, sir..."
And then he put on his glasses.
He'd been right on his previous points. Human voice and arms and there was most definitely a lot of oil. The S&M gear, unexpected but that would have just been out of place and uncomfortable.
It was the fact it was an S&M equine nightmare standing right in his face that made Akito's eyes go wide as he jerked back, nearly unbalancing himself again in the scrambled back peddle, and a choked sound (he'd later hate, once he was thinking again) escaping his throat that came out as, "Holy shit-"

"Why, thank you!" he said, taking flattery in the squeal. He turned to Takuro, holding a thumbs up. "Did you see that, young master?"
no subject
He looked over the new arrivals. "Are you okay? We were on our way up to collect you but we got... sidetracked."

With a snap of his fingers, he donned a second belt around his waist. It appeared with the sound of a cracking whip.

Oh, yes, Mitsuya was going to remember this feeling, and she was going to channel it into a story somehow if it was the last thing she did.
While Akito and the horse creature (youkai? She'd automatically been putting non-humans into that category, but something didn't seem quite right about it here) had been conversing, Mitsuya had picked herself up, dusted herself off, and surveyed the room... or what was left of it. Certainly someone, or something, had done quite the number on it.
And as she'd suspected, there were indeed some fellow adventuresome souls here. She wondered how many had discovered the same secret she had. (It might explain the mess, at any rate. And the 'young master' business--the plain-looking one definitely had some experience.)
"No need to worry about us," she responded cheerfully, once she'd confirmed that Keiichi was with them as well. " 'Collect', you say?"
no subject
"We were on our way up to you when we saw something down here and decided to check it out."
no subject
Mitsuya actually sounded almost petulant. After all the time she'd taken to get in here in the first place--although it seemed as though what she'd come for might in fact be in here anyway.
"Surely we can at least take the time while we're here to see what this room has to offer. Such a fortuitous coincidence shouldn't go to waste, after all."

She had been so worried of making sure her friend was okay, and trying to get the ringing in her ears to go away that she had managed to not notice the other people that had shown up. Luckily they weren't the dangerous type.
"I think I'm ready to go home now," Ami said, yawning. It had been a long night already, and smashing through a floor just made her more tired.
no subject
Her brows were furrowed; she looked near frustrated. The speed at which she was keying numbers into her mobile seemed to burn with a kind of fire.
"And I'm already on it."
It seemed that she wasn't used to being out this late. Though, whether it was something she wanted or was expected for was anybody's guess.

For now, Akito had his collected mask back on.
"Well, it isn't out of our way to see what's here as long as we're quick about it," Akito agreed. He fiddled with his glasses, looking 'worn'. "After all, I doubt we'll have or should have much of a chance to come back here once we leave." After a moment's thought, Akito added, half 'teasing' half 'serious' as he looked around at the group, looking for tells or reactions, "I must admit. All the magic, demons, and catch all supernatural goings on does explain a lot of sudden interest in this building."

It was the voice Mitsuya had heard the day she found the magical item cache, the voice that was on the phone. And the voice Ami, Asami, Takuro and Itsuki had overheard from above. It came from the door to the room, the one way out now, since the fallen floor board from above was a bit too steep to climb up.
It belonged to a man who should've looked like he was in his 20s, but looked more in his late 30s. Disheveled, with slight bags under his eyes, and a general air of "I'm not getting paid enough for this." He was wearing a security uniform - the suited man that the kids had seen on his way down, too?
He looked around with a dull look before beginning, in a deadpan tone. "Well, it is true what they say. It's easier to catch flies with honey than with vinegar."
no subject
And yet another abnormally collected person.
Akito's practiced 'let's-be-reasonable' smile slid on, though he 'nervously' fiddled with his glasses again. "'Yet' does imply we can leave at some point somehow though, correct?"
Preferably not while dead.
no subject
Point is, they were very sharp.
"Yes. It could be in ten years, for example. Or a hundred. Careful with your wordplay," he said, shaking his head a little and advancing further into the room. "I believe this is... almost everyone that's come in rummaging through our stuff. There's still two missing," he continued."
no subject
"I was kind of expecting you to be- well, bigger."
no subject
Then, for just an instant, everyone in the room would feel a tremor in the air. A sort of reverse vertigo, for instead of looking down from a very high place, they were at the feet of something very, very tall, though only Takuro could see it... the dark, blazing shape of a feathered beast, tall like the building itself. Then the feeling stopped.
"When you're old enough like me, you learn a bit about modesty, and not showing off just how big you are."
no subject
"You could have made like three innuendos there... And yet you didn't. How could you...?"
