Rumors [OPEN]
Who: Anyone feel free to make threads and hop between them.
What: Study hall for various classes.
Where: Library
When: A couple days after the event and Iwata's lesson.
Ryuseki High is a school that is neither too large, nor too small. The school has enough students that it is impossible for everyone to know everyone else, but it also isn't so woefully over populated that no one knows anyone else. This is the ideal ecosystem to breed the sometimes elusive and dangerous "rumors".
In a school like Ryuseki, the student body lives and dies on the rumors of the day. And there was no better place for those to begin than the shared study hall at the end of the day. Students were free to go to clubs or sports, but many found themselves speaking with friends in hushed tones, writing notes, and even a few more adventurous couples finding a dark corner to practice running to first base.
More importantly, rumors had been spreading through the school about evil disciplinary committee regents, angry idols, the wheel of karma, pathetic homeroom teachers, and funding being cut for clubs. These rumors were the lifeblood of the library, as if feeding some insatiable beast. There were rumors that students should be careful in the older sections of the library, where more rumors abound about falling bookcases and unexplained whispers.
At the front of the library sat a young teacher who seemed more interested in reading on the days celebrity gossip than anything else. She didn't even notice the mass of students who were playing with phones under the table or using the few computers set up to message friends. Every once in a while someone would speak a little too loudly for the teacher and she was forced to let out a loud "shhh!" that managed to quiet whomever had been the noisy one.
To regular students, it seemed like nothing special, just a place they felt comfortable sharing secrets ("Did you know Tanaka dyes his hair", "Megumi told me that she kissed Sato under the bleachers!"), while to others it felt more like they had to share these things. Surely it was nothing strange or extraordinary, right?

He held it out for Akito to take. "I figure this should have one inside as well. Please take it."
no subject
He smiled, 'warm' and 'grateful' as he reached took it. His shadow had hints of that smile and it took a last minute check to shut it down. Akito closed his eyes for a brief moment from the pounding before he continued,
"Did you share with the others yet?"

Akito kept his eyes on Iwasaki's and blinked with 'surprise'. "I see. I could though I wouldn't feel comfortable lying, not to mention I would have to explain how I got a new spell from no where..." He scratched the back of his head. "I'm just more surprised now why you'd choose to share with me. I would've thought you'd be more likely to share your stash with Kudou-san."
no subject
He hesitated. "I don't know if you feel it, but I have this... this attraction- Pull-" He corrected himself, cheeks colouring faintly, "-towards you. I figure it's the element thing."
no subject
Then, finally, Akito said, "Well...you're giving this to me in confidence. It's hard to say no to a line like that, 'attraction' aside," Akito smiled, that 'teasing' note of his sneaking in at the end of that. Then, looking more serious, "Of course, making a habit of this wouldn't be very good. Especially since we're all in this together."
no subject
He shoved his hands into his pockets. "But it's not like this hurts anybody. You can give it to somebody else if it's bothering you."
no subject
Akito seemed to think about something, then made a silent 'ah'. He rustled through his nearby bag and pulled out one of the magical yogurts. He held it out to Iwasaki. "Here. I started carrying a few around after the old school building. It's amazing how well the power of yogurt works," he chuckled.

no subject
But not necessarily immediately. His shadow nearly got in a smile at that. Akito looked 'thoughtful'.
"Hmmm...If it really is unusable to me then the spell might still be good, too. Then I could just hand it off to someone who can use it."
no subject
He shouldered his bag again. "If it is shadow-based, I would be interested in learning it from you. I'll let you know if I come across anything else useful."
no subject
Such as the scroll him and Araragi had picked up from the old school building. She currently had that.
"Well, I'm not Iwata-sensei but its only fair, I would imagine. Not to mention, it might be fun to experiment with someone else." Akito smiled.
no subject
He was self-conscious again.
"Although you could just talk to me after class, I guess. Never mind..." Cheeks burning, he crumpled the paper but dropped it into Akito's hand anyway. "I'll see you later, Terumi-kun."
no subject
"See you later. Thank you, again, very much."
