School has been a boring time for the last couple weeks. Ami is tired, nearly falling asleep in her classes, and her school work has been affected. Long nights doing interviews with websites and small signings has sapped her energy. Somehow, she still managed to look the part of the school's famous idol, with her hair done properly, and her makeup just flashy enough to keep her at the top of the school.

And yet, as much as on the outside she plays that part, the other side of Ami just wants to hang out with her friend. She wants to be with her friend and go somewhere fun, and forget everything. That's why Ami found herself near the entrance to the school texting Asami.

Hey, what are you doing? Wanna hang out?

Somehow, she managed to text that, even though the inside of her was super worried she might be busy or not want to hang out at all. That's why after hitting send Ami just stood there staring at her phone, ignorant of anyone trying to talk to her or anything.

Asami at first felt mean to not be answering her phone, because she wanted some peace and Ami didn't. She was standing next to her locker, twiddling her thumbs. Ami had looks and a future where she could use them. On the other side of it, she didn't know what she wanted - only try explaining that to her brother!

But like Ami she wanted to do something right now - she was unsure what - and as she started flipping open her phone, the thought that she had gotten herself outshone by her. Which wouldn't do. Ami was a nice girl, Asami thought, but a bit hopeless without her around.

Nothing much. Meet you at the bus stop? Go into town?
