Keiichi's words brought a happy, relieved smile to Kaori's face. For a second, she looked like a completely different girl that people had been seeing of late - softer, warmer, and more vulnerable somehow.

"Thank you," she said very sincerely. "That means a lot to me, Ito-kun. I don't want to live in that world anymore. I want to live in this one."

Her smile turned a bit rueful.
