School was important to Ami, because she was paying for it out of pocket. She had no family to support her to pay the tuition to the school, and so her trust fund and modeling money went right to the school. That meant she often found herself studying more than she would have otherwise, if only to make sure her money was not wasted.

In a way Ami had been hoping to find it first, if only to impress her friend. She wanted to be seen as cool and mature, in a way that she somehow saw Asami to be. But the disappointment is fleeting, as soon as they reached the front of the cafe and look inside to see the dozens of cats.

"They're so cute..." Ami always had a soft spot for cats, ever since she was young. Though it had been years since she had her own, so this cafe was just too perfect.

"Let's go inside!" she said after a moment of gawking at the cats, opening the door for Asami.
