"Alright.." she said sadly, letting the cat on her lap hop to the ground. "Goodbye kitty.." Ami was too sad to leave them, wishing like crazy that she could take the cats home with her. Yet she knew she couldn't so she paid the tab for their drinks and headed to the door with her friend.

"That sounds great..a-as long as your family doesn't mind." Dealing with her own family was painful enough, she didn't want to get on the bad side of Asami's after all.
