"There's a reason I never did sports in elementary school," she answered with a sigh. Being a short and scrawny kid ever since she was little, and not getting along well with others made it difficult for her to like any kind of sports.

"You haven't seen me in Gym then." Ami would most certainly be picked last for any sports, the times when she couldn't get out of doing things with a doctor's note.

"Did you decide what you want for dinner?" Ami asked, still petting a new cat on her lap. While she felt hungry, she felt like she wouldn't be able to pull herself away for her new friends.
